Ms. Knowles is a Board Certified Adult Gerontology Nurse Practitioner with the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC). She graduated with a Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing in 2010 from Long Island University in Brooklyn, New York. After earning her degree, she began her nursing career on a medical-surgical unit, followed by a telemetry unit, ending in the Cardiac Surgical Intensive Care Unit. In 2017, she attained a Master’s of Science in Nursing from Molloy College in Rockville Centre, New York with Adult Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner specialty. Kristen is a newly married New York native who with her husband, recently relocated to Maryland. She is excited to be providing care in the Calvert County community.
