We will always bill your insurance for you. If you do not have insurance, please ask a receptionist about our sliding scale payment policy.
Your most recent health insurance renewal may include changes in your co payment or a higher deductible. We are seeing more high-deductible insurance plans that include either a health savings account (HSA) or a health reimbursement account (HRA). With a high-deductible plan, your insurer allows an amount a provider can charge you, and you’re responsible for that cost until you meet your deductible. If you have such insurance, we’ll now ask you to pay the allowed amount when you’re in our office. We won’t be able to wait until your insurer processes your claim and then bill you later.
If your insurance care doesn’t indicate a required co-payment, or if a deductible isn’t shown, we will ask you to pay $40 to cover part of the anticipated cost to you for your visit.
We’re grateful for your assistance in paying for your care at the time of service.
