CIMG is proud to announce we have been approved by the Maryland Apprenticeship and Training Council to host the first Certified Clinical MA apprenticeship program in Southern Maryland! Partnering with the College of Southern Maryland, this program will consist of a combination of coursework at CSM and paid on-the-job training within our Practice. Working closely with designated preceptors, the on-the-job training will provide designated rotations in both clinical and non-clinical areas. At the end of the 2000-hour apprenticeship program, you will receive certification as a Certified Clinical Medical Assistant and have an extensive foundation of Medical Assistant experience.
This program requires an HS diploma or equivalent, basic computer skills, and to be actively enrolled and in good standing with the College of Southern Maryland Certified Clinical Medical Assistant program. This position will require CPR certification from AHAB or the American Red Cross within the first 90 days of employment.
